Here at SSLI, we encourage our middle school students to embrace a life of physical fitness. Our Physical Education classes introduce our students to different modes of physical fitness, such as running and yoga, that help encourage a love of exercise.

Our athletics program offers sports in the fall, winter and spring, with seventh and eighth graders encouraged to participate in a sport each season.

Our teams are coached by outstanding professionals who teach the values of teamwork, cooperation and leadership. Under their guidance, our students learn skills that help them build and maintain their physical health and wellness. Our most outstanding student athletes have the opportunity to join varsity teams in eighth grade.

The entire Schechter community rallies around our middle school athletics program. It is a privilege to cheer our students on as they embark on a mission of physical fitness that will last a lifetime.
