On April 26, five Schechter students were recognized for completing AJC Long Island's Leaders for Tomorrow program. Another two were recognized for completing LFT Next, the second- and third-year program.

LFT is a year-long advocacy and leadership development initiative run by the American Jewish Committee. Through immersive learning, hands-on experiences, and skill-building, students learn how to combat antisemitism, engage meaningfully with their communities, and advocate for the Jewish people and Israel.
